Transferring photos off of my camera has always been a huge pain for me. I’ve owned cameras that required proprietary usb cables, which I promptly lost. Others needed special software, which soon became unsupported. Even more recent cameras that took an SD Card initiated a hunt for a USB cable because, well, my computer was too old to have built-in SD slots.

This results in me taking a lot of photos that generally don’t get uploaded anywhere because I don’t feel like going through the hassle. Then, I learned about the Eye-Fi card. It’s basically an SD Card with a twist: it wirelessly connects to your computer and automatically uploads your photos….using magic!

Ok, it’s not magic, it’s build-in Wi-Fi, but it sure seems like magic compared to other methods. All you do is turn on your camera and Eye-Fi handles the rest. Your photos are backed up to your computer and organized by date. Even with your computer off, Eye-Fi can connect directly to your router and upload your photos and videos to your favorite sharing sites.

No more re-discovering photos you took 6 months ago still sitting on your SD Card. Jump into the world of real-time and keep your audience and/or family updated with the touch of a button.
